then you will have a short stop for lunch at a local restaurant before you head over to
Cairo Citadel
sprawling over a limestone spur on Cairo’s eastern edge, the Citadel, started by Saladin in 1176 as a fortification against the Crusaders, was home to Egypt’s rulers for 700 years, it features five different gates and twelve towers, you will conclude this tour with a visit to
Khan el-Khalili
, a famous Bazaar and Souq in the historic center of Cairo, its narrow lanes are basically a medieval-style mall where many products are sold, the place is perfect for absorbing the Egyptian culture while enjoying the Cairo’s Medieval architecture.
After the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
