Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh around 10:30 pm (all pickup times to be confirmed 48 hours prior to the tour) for your 3-hour transfer to the city of St Catherine. Upon arrival you will start the 3-hour climb of Mount Sinai which is 2,285m above sea level. You can climb by following a long path which leads to 700 steps. This takes you to the top of the mountain on time for the sunrise where you can enjoy a beautiful view. If you find it difficult to climb the mountain you can rent a camel to take you to the 700 steps. After the sunrise, you will get down from the mountain to start your guided tour to the monastery of St Catherine where you will visit the transfiguration Church, the burning Bush and the well of the prophet Moses, after wrapping up your tour to the monastery you will be transferred back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
